Mumford & Sons’ RUSHMERE is their fifth studio album, set for release on March 28, 2025, via Island Records and Glassnote Records. This marks their first full-length project in nearly seven years since 2018’s Delta, and their first as a trio following the departure of banjoist Winston Marshall in 2021.
The album is named after Rushmere Pond on Wimbledon Common in London, a significant location where Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane first conceived the idea of forming the band.
Produced by Dave Cobb, known for his work with artists like Brandi Carlile and Chris Stapleton, RUSHMERE reflects a return to the band’s folk-rock roots while capturing a prolific creative period described by the band as their most productive two years ever.
He has won numerous awards from his previous songs and with the cooperation of his fans he hopes he can win more with this new song theme “ RUSHMERE Album“.

The lead single, “Rushmere,” dropped on January 17, 2025, showcasing a familiar stomp-and-holler folk sound with Marcus Mumford’s vocals soaring over banjo and acoustic guitar. The album blends upbeat anthems like “Rushmere” and “Truth” with introspective ballads such as “Monochrome,” featuring a collaboration with singer-songwriter Madison Cunningham on “Blood On The Page.”
Notably, their 2024 Pharrell Williams collaboration “Good People” does not appear on the tracklist. Recorded across Nashville’s RCA Studio A, Savannah, GA, and Marcus Mumford’s Devon studio, *RUSHMERE* aims to reconnect with the band’s origins while pushing their sound forward.
The album is available for pre-order in various formats, including a limited metallic silver-grey liquid vinyl exclusive via Bad World, a 140g recycled black vinyl, and a CD with an 8-page lyric booklet. To celebrate the release, Mumford & Sons have planned intimate pre-release listening events starting March 28, 2025, a UK record store tour with live performances and signings, and a broader UK and EU tour later in the year.
