The album was recorded in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo, with Ezra Koenig producing and Ariel Rechtshaid, Dave Fridmann, and Emily Lazar contributing to the production process. The album cover is a photograph called “Subway Dream 11” by Steven Siegel, which also inspired the album’s title. Vampire Weekend will also embark on a tour in support of the album.
