Lil Durk’s *Deep Thoughts* is his ninth solo studio album, scheduled for release on March 28, 2025, through Only the Family (OTF), Alamo Records, and Sony Music. The album follows his 2023 solo project Almost Healed and his collaborative effort with OTF, Nightmares in the Trenches.
Despite facing legal challenges, including an arrest in October 2024 on murder-for-hire charges, Durk has continued to work on this project, with updates shared via social media while he remains incarcerated awaiting trial.
Lil Durk has shown that music just got better. He has won numerous awards from his previous songs and with the cooperation of his fans he hopes he can win more with this new song theme “ Deep Thoughts ALBUM Album”.
The album has experienced multiple delays. Initially slated for October 18, 2024, the release was pushed to November 22, 2024, then January 31, 2025, before settling on the current date of March 28, 2025.

These shifts coincide with his ongoing legal situation, but Durk has expressed enthusiasm for the project, communicating with his team from prison to refine the tracklist and energy of the album.
Confirmed features include artists like Hunxho and Jhené Aiko, with production credits including Southside. A tentative tracklist teased in a trailer also hints at a collaboration with Future.
Known singles tied to the album include “Turn Up a Notch” (released September 25, 2024), “Monitoring Me” (October 4, 2024), “Late Checkout” featuring Hunxho, and “Opportunist.” There’s speculation among fans about a potential Drake collaboration, “Discontinuing Wockhardt,” though it’s not yet confirmed for the final cut.
The album’s cover art, updated in March 2025, depicts Durk in a graffitied jail cell, reflecting his current circumstances—a shift from the original October 2024 artwork showing him floating above an ocean.
Deep Thoughts is anticipated to blend introspective themes with Durk’s signature street anthems, drawing from his personal journey, including his recent rehab experience and legal battles. As of now, the full tracklist and exact runtime remain unreleased, but the album is poised to be a significant moment for Durk and his fans.
