Elton John and Brandi Carlile’s collaborative album, *Who Believes In Angels?*, is set to be released on April 4, 2025, via Interscope Records. This 10-track project marks Elton John’s 33rd studio album and Brandi Carlile’s 8th, blending their distinct musical styles with contributions from John’s longtime songwriting partner Bernie Taupin and producer Andrew Watt.
The album was recorded in just 20 days at Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles in October 2023, featuring a stellar lineup of musicians including Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, bassist Pino Palladino, and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.

The album also includes their previously released collaboration “Never Too Late,” which earned a 2025 Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song from the documentary *Elton John: Never Too Late*.
John has described the album as one of the toughest yet most rewarding experiences of his career, calling it the start of a new chapter—“career Mark 2.” Carlile has echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the inspiring and challenging creative environment.
