Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson has announced his seventh solo album, The Mandrake Project. The album is due for release in early 2024 and will be Dickinson’s first solo album since 2005’s Tyranny of Souls.
Dickinson has been working on the album for the past few years with producer Roy Z. The album is said to be a concept album about a character named Mandrake, who is a magician and adventurer.
“This album has been a very personal journey for me,” Dickinson said in a statement. “I’m extremely proud of it, and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
Dickinson has also announced a tour in support of the album. The tour will kick off in Brazil and Mexico in April 2024, with more dates to be announced soon.
